After 6 captivating games of Cricket all around this great country, we’ve made it to Perth, where Australia will face England in the final of the 2014-15 Carlton Mid Tri-Series.
Hello and Welcome to our coverage of the Final, coming to you LIVE from the WACA.
It’s a cloudy day in Perth. We’re playing on the same pitch we used the other day, when England snuck home over India.
The news off the top here, is that England have won the toss, and will bowl first, as they did on Friday, which means that Australia will bat first for the first time all series!
The Teams are relatively unchanged.
As far as Australia is concerned, Mitchell Johnson is in for Xavier Doherty… For England, the same team that defeated India on Friday will play for the trophy here.
Looking forward to this game immensely.
We’re now under a fortnight away from the opening match of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, and every match is vital, as teams prepare for that tournament.
David Warner and Aaron Finch will be with us soon, as England have won the toss, and will bowl first!
2:20pm | England won the Toss, elected to Bowl first.

What a performance from Australia… from 4/60 earlier in the day, to a 112 run win tonight… yep, they were that much better than England tonight, and that’s a great confidence boost for this Australian team, ahead of the World Cup.
What a brilliant all-round performance from Glenn Maxwell… 95 with the bat, 4 wickets with the ball, and the Man of the Match award to go with it.
Mitchell Starc missed out on the wickets today (4 for Maxwell, 3 for Johnson, 2 for Hazlewood and 1 for Faulkner), but has claimed the Man of the Series award, following on from brilliant performances earlier in the series.
So, the series is done… It was a very entertaining two and a bit weeks of Cricket, but now, the main event is upon us.
We hope you’ll join us on February 14, as all the Cricketing world descends on Australia and New Zealand for the ICC Cricket World Cup.
New Zealand will kick things off against Sri Lanka, from 9am AEDST on Valentine’s Day, and it’ll all end in Melbourne, with the Final on March 29.
Australia’s first game will also be on the 14th, when they face England.
