10:30am | We’ve got a game on our hands at the Adelaide Oval. India finished yesterday on 5/369, they trail Australia by 148, and we’ve got 2 days of Cricket ahead of us, where all three results are possible.
What a compelling 3 days we’ve had so far, it started with the tribute to Phil Hughes, then we saw centuries for three of his mates, before Virat Kohli came out yesterday, and stole the show with 115.
Given the amount of time lost on Day 2, the draw is the likely result here, unless Australia can mop up India quickly this morning… they only need one wicket, and their in to the tail… then, get back out there, go on the attack, build a lead, and set India a target to chase here tomorrow.
It’s another beautiful day here… the weather is set fair, and as was the case yesterday, and will be the case tomorrow, we’re starting early to make up for lost time on Wednesday, in the hope that we can get a result in the first test.
Saha and Sharma will resume their Innings this morning, as India go about erasing the deficit. Ryan Harris will bowl the first over of the day, as we go up to the Commentary Box and say hi to James Brayshaw, Mark Taylor and Ian Healy!
11:05am | India 5/388 (105) [Trails by 129 runs] | Wriddhiman Saha 14* (42) | Rohit Sharma 38* (83)
Slow start for India this morning, but they remain unscathed, as Australia are yet to get a breakthrough on Day 4.
Nathan Lyon is into the attack, and in the commentary box are Shane Warne, Ian Chappell and Michael Slater!

The Australians will have around 45 minutes to bat through to lunch. We’ll bring it to you soon!
12:13pm | Hello again from the Adelaide Oval, where Australia have a 73 run lead, and will look to go on the attack, and build that lead quickly on the fourth morning at the Adelaide Oval.
We’ve got 45 minutes through til lunch, as David Warner and Chris Rogers make their way to the centre, and if Warner can fire like he did on Tuesday, this could be a very entertaining little period, as we go up to the Commentary Box and say hi to Michael Slater, Mark Taylor and Ian Healy!
1pm | Australia 7/517 dec (120) & 0/32 (10) [Lead by 105]
David Warner 13* (25) | Chris Rogers 19* (35)
It was a fairly uneventful 10 overs that saw us through to lunch here on the fourth day at the Adelaide Oval.
Chris Rogers outscoring David Warner at the moment, and that’s not a normal thing.
They’ll resume after lunch, and look to continue building that lead, which now stands at 105!
1:40pm | The resumption of play here at the Adelaide Oval on the fourth day… Australia with a healthy lead, and they’ll look to build on it, and try and force a result in this match.
In the Commentary Box are Ian Chappell, Mark Taylor and James Brayshaw!
1:50pm | GONE! THEY’VE GOT THE FIRST ONE VERY SOON AFTER THE LUNCHEON INTERVAL, AND THEY’VE DONE IT WITH SPIN SO EARLY IN THE INNINGS, AND A GOOD CALL TO BRING IT IN TOO, ON A TURNING DECK IN ADELAIDE!

David Warner 50* (63) | Shane Watson 20* (43)
THERE IT IS… Another fifty in this Test Match for David Warner… from just 63 balls.
It’s been a great performance from the opener, who’s had a cracking test match… hardly missed a beat, but he’ll know that he needs to go on with this again!
The lead is out to 166, the players have had a drink, and we’ve got 51 overs remaining in the days play, so still a fair bit of Cricket ahead, as we go back to the Commentary Box, where Mark Taylor, James Brayshaw and Mark Nicholas have moved in!
3:40pm | TEA
Australia 7/517 dec (120) & 1/139 (38) [Lead by 212 runs]
India 444 (116.4)
David Warner 69* (105) | Shane Watson 33* (83)
It’s TEA time on the fourth day, and that session has belonged to the Australians… there’s no question about that, as David Warner approaches another century, and Shane Watson looks to improve on his first innings failure!
The lead is now a mammoth 212, with four sessions left in the game, and 38 overs remaining tonight, so plenty of cricket to come, and the Aussies are giving themselves an opportunity to win it!
4:05pm | Final Session of play about to commence on Day 4, as Warner and Watson resume, and resuming in the Commentary Box are Ian Chappell, Brett Lee and Ian Healy!

Clarke | c Saha, b Aaron | 7 (20) | 3/168 (46)
At the other end, David Warner is on 89, but he’s got the luck of an Irishman today… he’s living like a Cat… he’s had a few lives already.

Brad Haddin 14* (15) | Steven Smith 52* (64)
It’s STUMPS at the Adelaide Oval on the fourth day, but India will come under fire, as we finish 7 overs short of the schedule 98 today… the over rates have been atrocious this week, and that’s 7 over less that we have to get a result in this match.
Join us tomorrow from 10am AEDST… we expect an overnight declaration, which will leave us with a captivating day of play tomorrow, to determine the result in the opening test of the series.
Thanks for your company… from Adelaide, it’s goodnight!
